Message from the Principal

Time flows like a river. Almost unnoticeably, it ushers Zamboanga Chong Hua High School to celebrate its 90th Foundation Anniversary with serires of festive activities in November, 2009. Since you are one of the members of this ZCHHS family, then that makes you a celebrator as well…

The theme of the celebration is, “Building on tradition, pursuing new heights.”

To enhance the significance of the celebration, the Board of Trustees has conceived of a commendable project, that is, to come up with a souvenir program which will consign every memory of the 90th Foundation Anniversary to posterity. As a counterpart, the ZCHHS Alumni Association will venture not only a photo exhibition but also spearhead other similar activities.

In view of the fact that our Alma Mater has produced countless productive professionals dynamically serving in different fields of endeavor across the country and around the world, it also ceaselessly aims to promote Chinese culture and breeds excellent Filipino citizens embedded with deep sense of Chinese traditions. In all these years, you have undoubtedly attained outstanding achievements and have fulfilled your respective responsibilities in community service. Before you were proud of your Alma Mater, but now, your Alma Mater is very proud of you because your achievement is a glory to her name.

Dear alumni, in order to bring back those wonderful reminiscences of your school days in ZCHHS, let us go through a time tunnel and trace back those footprints of your campus heydays. In connection thereto, we urge you and those alumni from different generations to offer old pictures portraying memorable stories of yesteryear campus life or at least write down your heartily kind words for your Alma Mater. You can also share with us your achievements in your service to your community. We truly pray for your commitment and cooperation on this endeavor.
